Netflix isn’t the only company that’s trying to stop VPNs.
The New York Times reported last month that Google is blocking VPN service OVPN, a VPN service that allows you to use Google Chrome and other apps from anywhere.
According the Times, the Google decision comes after it discovered that the company was blocking VPN connections on its Chrome browser.
That’s a huge blow to anyone who uses VPNs to access sites like Netflix.
And that’s the biggest reason why Netflix is blocking these VPNs: Because it’s afraid that VPNs will make it difficult for people to access their favorite movies and TV shows.
